วิธีใช้
Menyampaikan ucapan orang lain disertai rasa heran atau kesal dari pencerita. บาฮาซาลิซาน.
- 「~というんだ」 = they say that… The speaker is reporting and implicitly expressing an attitude: 「せっかく準備したのに、行かないというんだ」 (after all that preparation, they say they're not going).
- Different from 「ということだ」 (neutral reporting): 「というんだ」 always carries the speaker's emotional coloring, so it's only used in conversation or narrative writing.
- The question 「どうしろというんだ」 (so what am I supposed to do) is a very common way of expressing frustration.
