• 「Vます形＋よう」 = a way/method of doing something: 「書きよう」 (way of writing), 「言いよう」 (way of saying).
• Extension 1: 「～ようがない」 = there's no way to do it — 「連絡しようがない」 (there's no way to contact them).
• Extension 2: 「～ようにも～ない」 = even if one wants to do it, one cannot (due to circumstances). This is VOLITIONAL FORM + 「にも」 (休もう + にも), not the ます-stem — 「休もうにも休めない」.

  There's no way to solve this problem.

  ถูกこの問題(もんだい)は解(と)きようがない。

  「ようがない」 attaches to the MASU-STEM (解き), not the dictionary form.

• ผิด彼(かれ)が言(い)ったようにやりましょう、というのは「言(い)いよう」の例(れい)だ。

  「言いよう」 means "way of saying".

  ถูก「言(い)いよう」は「言(い)い方(かた)」の意味(いみ)だ。

  「～ように」 (in the manner of/so that) is completely different from 「Vます形＋よう」 (way of doing) — don't confuse the two patterns.
