States that ever since A (a major event/change), the state B has continued unbroken to the present. Emphasizes emotion.
- 「~てからというもの」 = "ever since A, B has continued unbroken until now". A is a milestone of major change.
- Emphasizes an EMOTIONAL/clearly noticeable ongoing change, stronger than plain 「てから」.
- B is an ongoing state (usually quite different from before A).
