「なお」 = in addition. Used to add a point worth noting at the end of a notice: 「受付は五時までです。なお、土日は休みです」.
Formal written language — casual conversation uses 「ちなみに」 or 「あと」; 「なお」 still sounds natural in formal spoken announcements (meetings, broadcasts).
「なお」 also means "still" when used as an adverb: 「今もなお使われている」 — a completely different meaning from its use as a conjunction.
