消費者庁は2026年10月2日、株式会社サイン・ハウスが輸入した充電式の高圧洗浄機で火災が起きたと発表しました。
On October 2, 2026, Japan's Consumer Affairs Agency announced a fire involving a rechargeable high-pressure washer imported by Sign House Co.
異音がしたため確認したところ、製品とその周辺を焼損する火災が発生し、1名が軽傷を負いました。
The user heard an unusual noise, and upon checking found that the product and surrounding area had caught fire — one person suffered minor injuries.
この製品は「ポケッタブル高圧洗浄機」(ブランド名はSPICERR)で、型番はSWU-1とPHP-1、2024年7月18日から約88,710台が売られていました。
The product is the 'Pocketable' mini high-pressure washer (SPICERR brand), model SWU-1/PHP-1, with about 88,710 units sold starting July 18, 2024.
The recall has run for over a year
バッテリーパックのバッテリーセルを作る過程に問題があり、発煙や発火のおそれがあることがわかったため、同社は2025年8月4日から回収と交換を始めています。
After finding a defect in the battery cell manufacturing process that could cause smoking or fire, the company began recalling and exchanging the product on August 4, 2025.
しかし2026年9月20日の時点で、回収率はまだ72.1%にとどまっています。
But as of September 20, 2026, the recovery rate stands at only 72.1%.
つまり約3割近くの製品がまだ使われている可能性があり、実際に2025年度は14件、2026年度はすでに11件の火災事故が報告されています(今回の事故は含まれていません)。
That means nearly 30% of the units may still be in use — in fact, fiscal year 2025 already saw 14 fire incidents, and fiscal year 2026 has seen 11 more (not counting this latest one).
対象の製品をお持ちで、まだ回収・交換を受けていない方は、直ちに使用を中止し、サイン・ハウスのお問い合わせ窓口に連絡してください。
If you own one of the recalled units and haven't exchanged it yet, stop using it immediately and contact Sign House's support line.
